Why government exam photo tools are different from regular resizers
Government portals in India have specific, non-negotiable photo requirements — exact pixel dimensions, strict file size ranges, and specific formats. Standard image resizers let you set any dimensions you want, but don't know what the portal requires. These tools know exactly what each portal accepts and output a file that passes validation automatically.
For example: the Kerala PSC Thulasi portal requires exactly 150×200 pixels under 30 KB. A general resizer won't know this limit. Our Kerala PSC tool is pre-configured for 150×200 pixels and targets 28 KB output (with a 2 KB buffer to account for browser rounding differences). You upload, click once, and download — no settings to configure.
All processing happens in your browser using the Canvas API. Your photos are never uploaded to any server. This matters especially for ID photos that contain your face and personal information.
